Meet Adam 🐾
Adam is the person behind the boxes and bags that we use to deliver your dog’s food 📦🛍️ – he does the final quality checks and packs all of our deliveries.
Arriving either with Duncan or @dpdireland safe hands – Adam makes sure every delivery is neatly packed, exactly right and pristine!

Rebecca last chatted about how she absolutely adores wrapping your dog’s individually portioned daily packs!
We all aim to keep getting learning – new ideas pop up all the time… in the shower, out walking our dogs… and in Rebecca’s case, she’s even been visited in the Land of Nod 😴💤
One night, a mysterious guide appeared in her dream;! She awoke the next day knowing how to wrap those thousands of individual daily packs even more neatly, and still more efficient. We’d thought she was on fast-forward on the cameras when we watched. So, getting even better – quite remarkable indeed. She brought her new lesson to the whole team.
How cool is that?! And the ghost of Phoenix Future wasn’t even on payroll, bonus! 🙃
We started Phoenix Bark in 2019, and now something very special is happening, with Rebecca, and across the whole team. We passed on what we learned taking our recipe and method from the hob at home, a pan and wooden spoon for one dog – to making thousands of weekly packs. The team has nailed this 🎯 and now, they’re teaching us how we can do this even more brilliantly than we ever imagined possible!
You know you’re getting something right in a company when you start to learn from your team. Our beautiful hive-mind, keep helping us improve our already brilliant service and quality, every day.
The story of Phoenix Bark (see our blog!) talks of stepping stones, unfolding in front of us as we have grown. A quite beautiful energy drives what we do, making so many dogs happier and healthier. And it touches us all. In different ways. It’s hard to describe sometimes.
We create an awful lot of happiness and joy – and when you do this, we find, you get a helping hand from the Universe in all sorts of different ways 🌙💛

It is International Women’s Day and we want to celebrate it by introducing you to another female member of our team!
Rebecca is part of our kitchen team. She has been with us for two years now and today she tells us a bit more about her job and what she loves most about working with Phoenix Bark.
Rebecca LOVES dogs, her own – Buddy, has shown great improvements in health and behaviour since he started eating our food.
She is a huge fan of the company’s culture, and the craic she has with the team when they’re wrapping. She’s is our Speedy Gonzales, we swear she’s on fast-forward when we see her on the cameras!
We don’t know how she does it… but she does, wait for the next post, to hear all about her incredible dream.

Meet Matthew 🐾
We’re a small family business, we’re very close to our customers. You chat and write to us a lot, we thought you’d like to put some faces to names and meet the team: staring with Matthew!
Matty has been working with us for many years. He, Duncan or Kathy are always your first contact – we never use robots or automation in this part of the business (we’ve robots working behind the scenes, but we do all the talking 🤖
What you feed your family, we understand, needs care and consideration. Matthew is there to help guide you, answer questions and stay close as you come on board – and stay just as close once you’re on board.
If you have a puppy, Matthew will be in touch every 2-3 months to check back on weight changes and reprofile the plan to keep it in tune until your baby matures!
Our plans are incredibly flexible. And Matthew is here to help if you’d like to change recipes, pause for a while if you’re heading away, or would like to review and update anything like your recipe selection or spread.
More often than not though, in his calls with our customers, Matthew finds that a lot of them just like a bit of craic!

Meet Barbara 🐾
Kathy & Duncan founded Phoenix Bark in 2019. The next spring, Barbara joined them on their journey. Kathy wants to share that journey today.
Babs was a shy pup – still following her mum around, her siblings all running about, all had homes – Barbara, hadn’t found one. Until Kathy picked her up, and sat in the car home – you could feel the connection as their eyes met – my Mammy!! 💛
The honeymoon was soon over, a few days later – she was earning her keep, in her new job as Head of Quality control and Phoenix Bark 🙃
